Attorney Peter Casey has 30 years of experience as a Trial Attorney. The first half of his courtroom career was spent defending towns, corporations, and clients from personal injury claims. This wealth of knowledge has served him well in assessing the value of cases. The insurance companies and judges know that he can successfully litigate cases when settlement offers are too low. In fact, other lawyers refer him cases for trial when the insurance carriers refuse to pay their settlement demands.

Attorney Casey has tried cases in Hartford, New Britain, Middletown, Rockville, New London, Waterbury and New Haven. He has argued cases in both the State Appellate Court and Connecticut Supreme Court. For the past 20 years, he has served as an arbitrator and attorney trial referee deciding cases in Hartford and New Britain Superior Court. Insurance defense attorneys and plaintiff attorneys also hire him to conduct private mediations and arbitrations.

He is a member of the Hartford County Bar Association, Connecticut Bar Association and the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association. Attorney Casey served as an adjunct professor teaching Moot Court at the University of Connecticut School of Law from 2009 to 2016. He clerked for the Honorable Edward Y. O’Connell at the Connecticut State Appellate Court after graduating law school.
